Our principal objectives are to:

Seek out and provide a home for boxing in a central and easily accessible location.

Improve and enhance the development and delivery of amateur boxing as a competitive Olympic sport.

Develop awareness that amateur boxing is an ongoing self-development process.

Offer programs and services that enhance the competence of Barbadian boxers.

Establish education, training and ethical standards for boxers in Barbados.

Promote boxers as leaders in sport and in the community, who are concerned with building citizenship through sport.

Keep the sport of boxing in the public domain.

Decentralize the sport by taking boxing into the communities around Barbados.

Increase the number of boxers, officials and administrators involved in the sport.

Improve the standard and level of operation of each category of persons involved in boxing.

Strengthen and support our Association as a self-regulated body which advocates on behalf of Amateur boxing and establishes, promotes and enhances the high standards set by its members on behalf of those persons who have chosen amateur boxing as a career.
