Caribbean Champions Barbados won the Caribbean Amateur Boxing Championships in the Cayman Islands in 1997. We were victorious in both the Junior and Senior categories. This win which was a first for Barbados, was accomplished in the thirteenth year of the staging of this competition, and was indeed a great source of satisfaction for the Barbados team. |
